Travel Designed To Bring You Closer
Small group trips built around the people, places, and traditions that make a destination feel like home.
Our version of luxury is being let in to someone's world. Their home. Their studio. Their farm.
Sobremesa
Meza comes from the Spanish word sobremesa: the time after a shared meal when no one gets up. The plates are cleared, but everyone stays at the table to talk, tell stories and connect. There's no English word for it, but you know the feeling.
Our trips are built around that feeling, with the people and cultures of the places we visit.

How we travel
You arrive as a guest
Days happen in kitchens, studios and on farms, hosted by the people who work in them. You're introduced, not ushered through.
Up to 12 people
Small enough that everyone learns each other's names the first night, and stays part of the conversation all week.
Curiosity over checklists
For travelers who'd rather spend an afternoon at one loom than an hour at five landmarks.
WHO COMES ALONG
Meza trips are for the curious travelers
Our trips are designed for travelers who value connection, who travel to expand their minds, and who want to feel something, not just see something.
01
You’d rather understand a place than check it off.
You’re excited by new experiences and the unfamiliar.
You’re drawn to someone’s story as much as the landmark.
02
03
You want to be in the moment, not just capture it.
04
Guatemala
7–9 days exploring the best of Guatemala including Antigua, Xela, the Western Highlands, and Lake Atitlán. See the local side of Guatemala that few travelers ever get to. Learn backstrap loom weaving with Maya masters, cook a meal with your new Guatemalan grandmother, and take part in an ancient Maya temascal. Come home with new friends and new perspectives, not just photos.
